A couple of behind the scene stages...

I took lots of photos of daffodils in my yard and beyond.

I took not two but three mulligans. Some were too grey, some too green but then I got what I was looking for. 

Lots of layering/glazing. These layers one on top of the other  (wait until dry) are what help create the depth and color. 

And then I worked to create the perfect match for a print!
