The first time I recall seeing a Painted Trillium was a hike to Mt. Cammerer. Getting there is a decent hike with over 3K feet of elevation gain. At the top is a gorgeous fire tower that reminds me of a lighthouse.
Having painted this gorgeous wildflower I feel like I will have to paint the iconic White Trillium!
